Adding data markers and helpers to PDFs
Include data markers and helpers within PDF documents to automatically recall matter or contact information and produce conditional content when generated on a matter.
To add data markers/helpers
Section titled “To add data markers/helpers”- Open the PDF document in Adobe
- Select Edit PDF
- Select Prepare Form
This will open the PDF document in the form editor.
To add new data markers/elpers
Section titled “To add new data markers/elpers”- Select Text Field
- Create the text box in the desired location within the PDF
- Right click the text box and select Properties
- Enter the data marker into the Name field
To edit an existing data marker/helper
Section titled “To edit an existing data marker/helper”- Any existing data fields will be shown in the right hand side menu
- Right click on the required field and choose Properties
- Amend the name field accordingly
