Matter history

The History tab of a matter details a list of changes that have been made to the case.

The audit trail includes details on:

  • The time and date of the change
  • The change that was made
  • The user who made the change

The History records information on:

  • Matter creation
  • Matter state changes including:
    • The matter being deleted
    • The matter being restored
    • The matter being placed on hold
    • The matter being taken off hold
  • Changes to the assigned Fee Earner
  • Requested matter exports
  • Completed matter exports being added to the matter
  • Amendments to the matter address fields
  • Changes made to the matter reference
  • Postponement or dismissals of matter alarms and traffic lights
  • Locking or unlocking of the matter
  • Task state changes including:
    • Tasks being marked as completed
    • Tasks being marked as outstanding
    • Tasks being marked as not-applicable
  • Addition of tasks
  • Deletion of tasks
  • Deletion of task notes
  • Renaming of tasks
  • Reordering of tasks
  • Changes to task visibility including:
    • Tasks being made visible to stakeholders
    • Tasks being made private to stakeholders
  • Changes to the data saved to a Custom Field of a matter, including:
    • New data added
    • Existing data amended
    • Data deletion
  • The status of form submissions on a matter, including:
    • Forms submitted as pending
    • Forms accepted
    • Forms rejected
    • Forms resubmitted
  • Renaming of emails or files within the Folder
  • Moving Folder items to the trash can
  • Restoring folder items from the trash can
  • File reviews marked as resolved
  • Stakeholders being removed from a matter
  • API Payloads added to a matter
