Creating a new contact field

A contact field can be used to save information against a stakeholder’s contact card.

This information can then be automatically recalled within your templates, by making use of it’s data marker.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Contact Fields
  2. + Add Field
  3. Type: choose the type of data that should be saved against the contact field
  4. Group: choose or create a new group for the contact field to sit within
  1. Name: Provide a user-friendly name for the contact field
  2. Data Marker: A unique identifier will be created for you, select ‘Edit’ to amend the data marker provided
  1. Save
  1. Navigate to Settings > Contact Fields
  2. Export a copy of your current contact fields
  3. Add the new contact field as a new line item
  1. Save the file
  2. Import it back into the Contact Fields page on InTouch
  1. Navigate to Settings > Contact Fields
  2. Select the Custom Field
  3. Make the required changes
  1. Save
  1. Navigate to Settings > Contact Fields
  2. Select the Custom Field
  3. Delete
  1. Navigate to Settings > Contact Fields
  2. Select Order Fields
  3. Drag and drop the fields into the desired order
