URL linking

There are 2 ways to link your InTouch matters to external systems:

• From the matter’s URL
• From a unique URL that works from your matter’s reference

Unique URLs

To find a URL for a specific matter:

1. Select the settings cog to the right hand side of a matter
2. Choose Edit Reference
3. Copy the URL provided

Note

The convention for this link is: {{InTouch URL}}/matter?reference={{reference}}

Tip

This can be helpful when you use a separate accounting package to InTouch. For example, your matter reference may be created in your accounts software, which is then copied to InTouch. You can then link directly to InTouch from your accounts package with a hyperlink field.
